CI Lump Sum

Breast Reconstruction

Mandy would have received an additional R 100 000 ( this benefit pays 15% of the CILS cover value up to R100 000) to help her pay for her surgery.

Breast cancer is by far the most common female cancer and to further complicate an already traumatic experience, a woman is faced with the decision of whether to undergo breast reconstruction surgery after a mastectomy. This is a personal decision and the surgery itself is complex and expensive. This additional payment would have allowed Mandy to make the decision without worrying about the cost.
